One of the hardest things we all struggle with every day is self acceptance. It is often what is at the core of most of the pain we experience in life. The blatant truth is that all emotional pain is produce from within us. When our true selves are battling with our ego we can feel confused lost and even worthless. These feelings do not exist anywhere in the real world but are actually responses to how we view the world. Our thoughts surrendering our circumstances in life are what drive our feelings. If our thoughts are negative then they do of course initiate negative feelings. If our thoughts are positive and hopeful then we feel exactly that way. It is indeed our perceptions that dictate how the world “IS” in our lives. The world never truly “IS” it simply “IS” how we perceive it to be.

So isnt it true that our worlds is simply a reflection of ourselves. If the world is only how we experience it then doesn’t that mean that if we can change how we perceive ourselves we can change how we perceive the world. So it starts at home. We often here that we have no power over people places and things. But do we not have power over how we perceive these things. Are these things not just reflections of parts of ourselves. So in a sense we can not truly control people, places and things but we can control how they effect us and is that not the real issue.

Self Acceptance is how we change our worlds. We only have to accept ourslves there are no other challenges in the universe. When we truly accepted ourselves we have changed people, places and things because these things are really how we percieve them…
